The statute that Trump was charged with that resulted in the $355M fine requires "victim statements"...

There weren't any statements because there weren't any victims.

Biden started using the lower deck entrance to AF-1 after he fell up the stairs to the main deck a while back.

Yesterday he tripped on two steps going up the stairs to the lower deck.

Biden’s dog has bitten people 24 times. That has lead to him being banished from the White House.
At lease someone is showing some fight

It was banished months ago after they admitted it had bitten three people, they didn't mention the other 21 incidents until this week.

I used to think we lived in an alternate happier universe but now I'm not so sure.....

one of my old bosses had a theory that democracy was a western theoretical indulgence - and most of the world had functioned perfectly well without it for centuries

But yes, when you look at the figures an elected government will alway be supported by the minority (unless they are called Vladimir or Adolf). Perhaps we should make voting mandatory

I can think of several other useful improvements.

Candidates for election must have a minimum of 10 years experience in another industry.

Time limit on being an MP, say 15 years.

Breaking the rules (eg expenses, lobbying, etc) = instant dismissal.

And you know any of that will never happen on the political gravy train. Like Turkey's voting for Christmas.

Looking more and more likely ...

https://news.sky.com/story/donald-trump ... s-13080350
Donald Trump has defeated Nikki Haley in the South Carolina Republican primary.

The result will further cement his grip on the race to be his party's nominee for president.

Mr Trump claimed his fourth straight primary win on Saturday, handing an embarrassing loss to his last remaining major rival in her home state.

It strikes me that with your previously professed dislike of Trump, you’d be more supportive of Haley?

I’m pleased she’s staying in the race. At least republican voters have options, even if they don’t want to use them.

Politicians giving voters options to vote for someone else?! What utter c*nts. Do they believe in democracy or something?

Personally I think we could all use more candidates who aren't just in a hurry to show us how big their (metaphorical ;) ) nuts are.
