I enjoyed a lot of the earlier ones but I absolutely hated dead reckoning. Utter nonsense.

Does have Vanessa Kirby in though

I've started watching all of the last few MI films but haven't actually finished any of them.

True, but you might as well just look at some pictures of her then watch a half-way decent film when you're done.

Steaming pile of shite, with about 4 times the amount of dramatic music than required.

I think I did say this about 6 months ago - went on for hours, lots of Tom Cruise running, but absolutely no story what so ever. Two stunts were the whole reason for the film.

I never have high hopes for most films these days. It stops me from being continuously disappointed.

I can also then watch the big blockbusters for what they are, entertaining bollocks. Brain disengaged, zone out, nice stunts. That'll do me.

Oh, and I'll take Rebecca Ferguson please. You'll see more of Vannessa Kirby, she's been cast in the Fantastic 4 remake.

I watched the one where he was Ona triumph with off road tyres. Never bothered with any more after that…

I quite liked Fall Out, especially that bit where Cavil 're-loads' his arms <swoon>.

I like the Mission Impossible movies, but I really struggled to like this one. It just felt like a collection of set-piece stunts we've seen multiple times before (apart from the bike jump, maybe).

Apparently they started filming without a finished script and unsure what the big maguffin actually was. It really shows in the final product.

It's a franchise movie. As with all of them, quality goes out of the window (if it was ever there. Fast and Furious, anyone?) in place of bigger global earnings.

Bolivian, Bauhaus-inspired, alternative rom-com arthouse movies are where it's at, dahling.
