GPZ900R AC Restomod

Post by Skub »

I've always had a soft spot for the 900R. It was a big step up in performance in it's day and to my eyes, still looks cool.

I came to mine from a 74 BMW R90S and it was pretty mind blowing. It felt like a rocketship compared to the old beemer.

AC Sanctuary magic at work. I'd not mind this in the garage at all. 8-) I bet it's two fortunes,though..

Nicely understated update topped off with an excellent paint job. I approve.

It's nice, but trying too hard sums it up

The gold fork legs could definitely do with being satin black.

If that had modern engine and decent handling I'd give it a try.

It's a bit..........Bellwood!
If I found it in my garage I would not be too disappointed, however if I'd spent £20k on it......

I don't like the seat unit either.
Original seat wasn't exactly a great shape to start with..

I'd want a lot more power than that and modern bits.

Don't like the exhaust, caliper brackets or RWU forks. There maybe more but I stopped looking...

I like the exhaust, can't stand the look of the canister systems.
