Of all the electronic bling nowadays, these 2 must be the most diverse. ABS is great and makes the rear brake on mine useable.

Cruise control makes a quickshift look almost compulsory

I was looking at that pic earlier. I think the frame looks better than the old one.

Then I thought it looked familiar, is it just me?

They come with a QS and I believe a down blipper too. Along with a new fancy Ohlins.

But damn, that headlight

Some fun bits, some safety bits, but cruise on one of these. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I've never ridden a bike with cruise, but i know Tricky loves it. There's only been a few rides where i think it'd be useful though i must admit.

Yeah, cruise on a bike is brilliant, and the only thing I missed on my 790 , although they do have it now, if you want it- it's a Β£200 option on the 2020 ones.
Before I'd ever had a bike with it I used to laugh and possibly even question a person's manliness if they raved about it, but as soon as I got a bike with it (my first MT in 2016) I was converted- it's really worth having and so good just to be able to give your right arm a rest whenever you want .
The best bit is no-handed races though ( first to put a hand back on the bars loses) , they can make 50mph limits on those long trips proper fun, especially the really bendy ones :D

Not ridden a bike with cruise. The Brutale has a speed limiter which is interesting, though a pain when you can't remember how to turn it off :D

Speed limiters are ace for those long stretches of 50 limit roadworks on motorways. I'd get one just for that, although its more of a car thing.

I hardly use cruise control in the car, I don't think I'd ever use it on a bike, but I can also see that other people would.
I'd rather have a riding suit with climate control

I've had cc on one bike. Used it once on M6 north, normal traffic, Lasted 10 secs max. Didn't feel in proper controll, πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

Many do think there ace though. As Tricky says, bit of right arm rest, bit like right foot rest I suppose. But for me, it wouldn't swing a deal. Heated grips my favourite. πŸ‘

I use it a lot with the car, from a safety aspect I dial in the speed, then I can just look where I'm going and not be concerned about unintentionally creeping over the posted limit and getting an annoying fine. Great for boring motorways too.

Mrs.Skub hates my cruise control games, where I punch in a number, then see how long I can maintain it. I can imagine it would be fun on a bike for all those reasons. The ZH2 has it,but I was too busy hanging on to try it out.

I use it on the 50 section of the cat and fiddle, it can be a bit disconcerting though when you go to accelerate out of a corner only to get nothing.

Just to add....a few years back I had cc on my skoda octavia. On M5 going down to Ilfracombe with the caravan in tow. Thought I try it. All good and watching my current mpg. Boredom had set in and it was mildly entertaining..until I came to a slight incline. 😯

Mpg down to 16 mpg...off it went bloody sharpish. πŸ™‚

Maybe something to do with towing a caravan up a hill, rather than cruise control? ;)

I generally get better MPG in the car with cruise control on....

2, one on each side.
