The one on the left talks at a million words per minute, the one on the right sounds like she has marbles in her mouth,

Having failed to open a direct portal to hell with the LHC, they now want to build an event bigger one...

£12bn is pretty cheap if it destroys the universe.

"It is because the LHC, which cost £3.75 billion to build, and started operating in 2008, has not yet been able to find particles that will help to explain 95% of the cosmos."
Well that's just a poor show
I'm amazed the LHC is nearly 20 years old though! I still think of it as new.

Well, if £3.7 billion explains 5% of the cosmos, they just have to spend another £70.3 billion on explaining the rest.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 10:25 am "It is because the LHC, which cost £3.75 billion to build, and started operating in 2008, has not yet been able to find particles that will help to explain 95% of the cosmos."

Wonder what they’ll do after that.

Only just in the job he wanted for his entire life and now this.
Saying that, he'll not be on some years long NHS waiting list like us plebs.

Nope, I do too. As it's the dumbed down version shown to the mainland in a vain attempt to make them understand how this place really works.

During their lives men have a 50% chance of being diagnosed with cancer.
Poorly or not depends on which cancer has been diagnosed and at what stage in its development.
There is a huge variety of cancers and many are now curable, particularly when early diagnosis is made.

You’re very understanding. It’s not about the people who live there- it’s the politicians spouting across the mass media!

Mmmm, am I right in thinking that you are saying that as a man, I either will get diagnosed with cancer or I won't get diagnosed with cancer?

I'll stop short of running a sweepstake, but I'd wager Chaz has bladder cancer. Having had the same treatment for a mahoosive prostate recently, one of the joys is to have a camera put in your bladder to have a look around. Was actually quite interesting to watch....
My mum has had bladder cancer and she's still here knocking up roast dinners, and as she put it, if you had to put your hand into a tombola of cancers and got 'Bladder', you'll have picked a good 'un.

Unlike a mate of mine I've known since college who told me he's got bone cancer. That's him off my Xmas card list, ruining my day like that.
