You must have missed in the other thread, they signed both Bradley and Sylvain to the BMW squads as tester/whatevers.

I'm hoping he improves. Always been one of my favourite riders.

Just compared with last year's qualifying..

Bulega was 0.4 faster than Bautista's 2023 pole.
Redding is a whole second slower than his time last year.

Because it’s Toprak, that’ll be his excuse. Toprak is unreal, he’s barely ridden the bike, the two days he got before were cut short because of the weather, fingers crossed he gets even better on it and does the business.

Absolutely, well impressed with how he’s going on the beemer. Here’s hoping this season will be a belter with lots of close racing, I really hope Bulega doesn’t run away with it like Alvaro did these last two seasons.

Alvaro seems to be struggling with the extra weight, he wasn’t 100% at Jerez and but was doing better this time, he just seems to be lacking something and it’s more than likely the extra weight, having to get used to the bike and how it is reacting to his inputs.

yeah i doubt it's the actual weight as such, but the positioning/location of it... that'll be the key. Obviously when it's rider based it's 'moving' rather than static weight so you just kind of go with it... but with it on the bike that's going to change different aspects of things in handling. Unless they can do it and fit it in his suit or something ? But that then may increase fatigue for him... dunno.
