Fabio is being properly let down by that bike  Let's hope Yamaha can sort it out.
I think having Alex Rins as a team mate will give Fabio a bit of a hurry-up. He's fast and is a proven winner on an IL4.
Do you think he needs a hurry up? I've gone on the basis he's gone from WC and top 3 most weekends to nowhere. I assume that's the bike not him.
Yeah, true, but he may have lost a bit of motivation.

The bike is clearly a long way off being competitive, but I'm a bit concerned that FQ is getting locked into a negative mindset, and I think having someone like Alex Rins alongside him in the garage will re-energise him. But until Yamaha fix the bike's obvious issues he's never going to challenge the front runners. Fabio is one of the 3 or 4 fastest riders out there and deserves a bike that suits his abilities and it must be really tough to be racing for 10th place when he was WC a couple of years ago.

I should be at Valencia. Looking forward to MM finishing the season as champion before moving to KTM for 2025.

I'm going for bagpuss to win the championship again - he's now calm enough to do the job without spannering himself. Martin has yet to learn that lesson, and marquez will want to win the entire championship by turn 1, block pass everyone and send himself and anyone he collects into outer space.

If the 2024 Ducati is as much of an improvement over the 2023 version as reports would indicate, then even MM's banzai style will find it hard to make the difference. And unless MM has learned the lessons from last year about over-riding the bike then he's bound to repeat recent history.
