Small wins.
Leccy to me is voodoo. We bought a big place, with some 'interesting' wiring, but all solved without too much drama. (or pesetas)
Yeah - mechanical stuff I can get my head around. Electrical stuff is witchcraft. I can figure house wiring (just about) but vehicle wiring - no chance...

Mrs Jawa got her new motor today. Skoda Scala 1.5 TSi DSG. Fucking quick for a 1.5 as its 150 bhp and the 7-Speed DSG is the danglies.

That means I can have my Fabia TSi back, so a stainless cat-back system, dump valve, and new shockers all round, it'll be back to it's old self.

Asked a friend of mine to call the equivalent of VOSA here about the Monster. She did and I now have a 12 page document to print and fill in, once I've done that and sent it off with all the other stuff they request, I will get an appointment for an engineer (mechanic? MOT type tester person?) to check the bike and (hopefully) give me a certificate I can use to register the bike here

Still crossing fingers, but somewhat more positive than before about succeeding :D :D :D

I took a couple on my 4WD volcano tour a few days ago. It's awesome.
They bought me lunch at my fave cafe over in La Santa.
Then bought me beer all night on Friday. At 1.50€ a pint, I was happy to accept.

Just been for another beer and they said that the couple had bunged 50€ behind the bar for me. WOW !!!!!

That's made my day.

Out one day, an instructor assessment, which ended at the guy's home. A nice detached house in a secluded location.

His wife must have recognised the noise of his bike and decided to 'welcome' him by appearing at a bedroom window.

She obviously wasn't expecting a second bike. And rider.

I was a gentleman and looked away.

It wasn't mentioned again :)

While she quickly rushed the milkman out the back door....

Ah ok

We had one on the fence between us and neighbours. Which pigged him off a bit as he was out and missed it. He used to go down the town, using binoculars to watch a pair nesting on a building :D

They nest on the cathedral tower in town, we can see the cathedral tower from the house so I'm kinda surprised we don't see the Peregrines more often here, there's plenty of pigeons.
