Just watching Frozen.

Just started and finished a trog round the countryside at a local sports club. Today must be girl's footy day. Must have been 60 of 'em zipping about on 3 pitches. I don't think any of them were over 4ft high. They all seemed to be having a whale of a time. The fans/parents were making more encouraging noises than when the blokes play.

Only down-side was the din in the café from the ones who had finished Half of them left and the noise level went down by at least 0.5 decibels. In the foyer by the entrance there were about 30 pairs of tiny boots scattered at random (studs not allowed in the café)...good luck to the parents sorting that lot out.

Nice to see kids doing something other than staring at a screen.

Got out on my snowboard yesterday,
Thrashed round and round, hit some jumps, threw some 360's and found some new side hits and off piste drops.

My thighs are trashed today though

It's obviously shit, but has sentimental value.

Years ago I bought some original Calvin & Hobbes drawings by Bill Watterson and over the years I've occasionally looked for them but could never find them, I assumed that somehow, in a move somewhere, they had been lost.

But Mrs Potter found them this morning in amongst some of the kids stuff from years ago.

I feel like I've found an old friend

One of the few things I follow on IG is a thread of Calvin and Hobbes strips. Genius. (+ Berke Breathed's Babylon County strips starring Opus the Penguin ).
