Just to scare you... this is what the boy races

Having watched some of the vids of bicycle lunacy, especially some of the Red Bull stuff, I can see why these types of bicycles cost so much. They need to be built well to survive some of the punishment they receive!

Strong, light, cheap, you can only pick 2.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Mine arrived too. I got it out of the box today. I can't see a front axle / quick release mechanism. Am I being daft or do I need to contact the supplier to send one?

I would have thought front axle was bolt through - it's not bolted across the bottom of the forks?
If not contact supplier

It seems to be that and it does work. I have to say I preferred the old quick release for taking the front wheel off. But this isn't that much worse.

Make sure that you thoroughly grease the threaded section and the axle.

I've seen and have had to remove many seized thru axles. Same for caliper retaining pins of the screw in type. Lube the little sucker otherwise it's drilling out time.
