Friday thread.. the frosty chilly one

Friday: 9.30am School Assembly with 450 people in the church, Epiphany Eucharist.
10.30 to 11.30 spent time with my Spiritual Director. After that I helped son find his paperwork for his job interview. Made sure he was okay for that.
2pm Funeral for someone who was married at this church some 51 years ago. Her son in law has been called up to service in Oman, heads out tomorrow, so he was in full uniform with medals.
Spent afternoon getting admin stuff done, collected wife and did some shopping.

Saturday. Morning Prayers at 9am. Then meeting with a parishioner with mental health issues to spend some time with them. Walk dog in the afternoon in local park.

Sunday: 9.30am Eucharist service, not preaching as my Pastoral Assistant is. 11:15am Eucharist at other church, I am preaching!
Home early afternoon, walk the dog after a light lunch. Early night as I have a very busy Monday.

Rattling around on my own in our new house as the long haired general is in Canada seeing a friend.
Tomorrow- putting new waterproof cover on one of the bikes and resisting the temptation to start it - they’ll both need a change once I get round to riding after this cold snap.
Tidying up moving stuff lying on the sofa etc.
Seeeing Apocalypse Now redux at the prince charles tomorrow night 3 hours long ….
