Brittany Ferries Club Voyage

I use Brittany Ferries on my visits to France, but I don't go often enough to make signing up for their 'Club Voyage' package worthwhile. Is there anyone on here who is a member of that scheme and would allow me to use their code/details when booking my next journey?

I'm the same as you, don't travel often enough to warrant the membership cost.

I guess I should re-visit the 'Club Voyage' package and re-assess cost vs. benefits. Last time I checked it didn't add up financially.

First year membership costs £120 (£60 one-off registration fee plus £60 annual membership fee), and benefits have been curtailed compered to those who were members before November 2021. The headline 'up to 35% off' figure only applies to low season mid-week crossings. All other discounts are much less generous. This is the current discount tariff:

We tend to travel on 'Mid' season midweek crossings, so a £15% discount applies. This is £75 off a typical £500 bill for a return trip for two adults and a cat, a 5 metre van, and overnight cabins so make 2 return trips and membership pays for itself. I may need to reconsider...

Just my 2p's worth but trying to sort out a trip for 50 harleys and 3 artics to go over in April. BF are a nightmare, if we could go DFDS Newhaven Dieppe would be a happy bunny.

Was looking at ferry's for my trip later in the year. As i am a jock DFDS Newcastle would be ideal. Staff are wank but it safes a trip to Hull for P&O. Anyway DFDS are asking just under £1000 for two adults and my camperbus. P&O were higher. If i am willing to do the nine hour drive to Dover Irish Ferry's are asking £288. The extra fuel both ways is around 120 quid so sod them. Irish Ferry's are my new best friend.

I wasn't aware of the existence of Irish Ferries, will check them out. Only problem is Dover - a f'n nightmare to get in or out of and prone to really, really long tailbacks on the A20.

You used to be able to swap clubcard point for triple their value in Chunnel vouchers, I think they've dropped it to double value now. Might be worth a look if you shop at Tesco.

Sorry Bob i just noticed this. Yes i do shop Tesco and save the points. Not long discovered i had 140 quid sitting i knew nothing about. Car and van filled up and a few beers over Christmas saw that gone Probably have about £100 to use by the time we are due to go over. TBF the difference is nothing but its the waiting and travel times i am looking at. Is the boarding faster on the train or boat. Passport control at the other side????? I want over ASAP as i have just drove down from just outside Edinburgh (Overnight) and want an early crossing. Could probably manage 100 miles till i need to kip after the crossing but will probably add a day onto my trip and stop sooner to catch up on vital sleep. The plan is Italy and drive south. Cross over to Croatia and head north to Slovenia for Lake Bled. This is over 14/15 days. Then another week just playing it by ear, see whare the pin drops.
