... The UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) has calculated that there were 7.2% or 44,255 more deaths registered in the UK in 2022 based on comparison with the five-year average (excluding 2020).1 This persisted into 2023 with 8.6% or 28,024 more deaths registered in the first six months of the year than expected ...
Add in 'excess deaths' in 2020 and 2021 so perhaps a couple of hundred thousand excess deaths so far ...
What is magical about five years? Why is the media and the PTB so obsessed with the five year figures? Is it because the death rate in 2020 was about the same as the death rate in 2008 and, if I remember correctly, lower than every year before that? Is it because the people wouldn't have been so compliant if they'd been told the truth?
There is nothing is magical about five years, the data happens to be readily available.

If you have data for excess deaths for, say, the 10 years or more to date please post it here.

Thanks.

Can not see any reference to excess deaths in the linked document. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place, so where should I be looking?

Sorry, my mistake, I thought you were asking me for data to support this:

If there weren't any excess deaths then the figures quoted earlier still stand.

Are more people dying? Or even hospitalised? I've not seen much on The News about it (unless the fickle bastards just don't care any more), only anecdotal stuff - mainly on here to be honest. Everyone is cracking right on, I doubt most of us are even bothering to do a COVID test when we come down with something. The COVID Worldometer stats make it look like it COVID has died right back, or at least the stats aren't really being gathered / supplied any more.

Masks have just been made mandatory in all medical facilities here (Valencian Community), apparently there's a lot of flu and covid hospital admissions.

I would look at 5 years worth of accident data when doing AIP studies. It's a reasonable time period to lookat.

I don't understand you wanting 10 years data for excess deaths though. In general there are no excess deaths unless there is something exceptional that creates more deaths than can usually be expected. It's the reason I had a pile of accident studies to plough through - why was this particular location/junction etc. prone to more traffic accidents?

Looking at 10 years worth of data is fine. Covid, perhaps being an exceptional event would possibly show an increase in the death rate for 2020 and possibly 2021 over the recorded deaths for the previous 9 or 10 years - an excess in layman's terms. If there isn't a fairly stable number of deaths in the previous 10 years it could indicate that there was another, earlier exceptional event(s) that caused more people to die.

But you know this so I'm interested in what you are actually getting at. A while back I looked at some ONS numbers and they had a list of all covid 'related' deaths. Iirc, the total number of deaths attributable purely to covid was just 20,000. There were a lot more deaths where covid may have played a part but purely covid deaths wasn't as high as the overall numbers suggest.

No, I'm not going to go digging out any data to back up my memory, I'm holidaying in Laos currently. Covid doesn't seem to be an issue here, just as it isn't in Turkey. Maybe you're all unhealthy fuckers in the UK.

Would they actually be 'excess deaths' now?

It's the new normal innit? Semantics maybe.

I did not want 10 years of data. It was a request to @Saga Lout who took issue with using 5 years of data.

Over here the media have been screaming about the HUGE increase in cases... but gave the increase data as a percentage.

Today they fucked up & gave the number of actual infections for LA County.

It works out to 1 in every 14,903...

The % is probably more important, it indicates how fast it will spread.
But it won't indicate how deadly it is which now appears to be not very.

It also gives an anti-vaccine culture when actual real vaccines need to be rolled out.

The covid vaccine scandal, and yes that is fully what i think it was as there is just too much evidence for it not to have been, has given a large minority the belief that all vaccines are bad, it was handled so badly by the tories and their cronies that no-one will ever trust vaccines again, even the ones that have been used for decades. I'm sure this is also true in other countries as well?

But hey, the rich got richer from it so that is all that matters right?
The vaccines were used in over 200 countries.
Can't blame the tories for all that ;)
Hence my 'im sure it's the same in other countries as well' comment!

I'm sure there are also rich, greedy, corrupt scum running lot's of other countries too, in fact i'm sure of it.
Imagine trying to get 10 mates to arrive at a restaurant at the same time?

Now imagine trying to organise 220 countries into a vaccine scam ? :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Not sure you understand whhat i am saying.

They didn't all group together to create some sort of vaccine scam conglomerate, they would just of seen a way of making lot's of money off of people getting ill.

Did you not read all the scandals of governments securing contracts with companies part owned by other gov employees and instead of going with companies who could of given better value gave them to the ones they could make the most money for themselves from?
