Outlet is above the shower, so I guess its the condensed steam from a long period of time?
Could be, but it sounds like a lot of water. :hmmm:
Its all it can be. The outlet on the outside faces downwards from the soffit and as we know, water runs up, not down. So it must come from the bathroom end as there is no leaks in the pipework and no water anywhere else. I cant recall ever hearing the hum of the fan, so I assume its never been on and we had the new bathroom fitted November 2022...

That's odd..it runs down and not up in Worle.

Hmm...I don't actually run the extract fan when I'm in the shower (it's linked to the light switch and, because the window people delivered and fitted a clear glazed window and door - it's accessible from the garden - we fitted a sheer curtain, 'cos the view - outwards :D - is quite nice. Not that there's anyone looking in but....y'know..). However, it's not directly over the shower and it does get used if I'm having a shave etc, but it's something I'll keep an eye on.

Never need to use it.
But does that mean its not been put on inadvertently? Can't think of anything else in a house that would draw that much power?
There's a little digital light up switch doofer on the kitchen wall, easy to see if the heater is on even accidentally.

Stood in the front yard & watched a Falcon 9 disappear into space for about 6 or 7 minutes.

Yesterday we got a bus to Chiang Khong, stayed overnight in a very nice hotel and this morning got a tuk tuk to the border and entered Laos.

We then jumped on a boat and spent the day cruising down the Mekong river. Very pleasant, watching the world go by. Not as much life along this part of the river as I thought there'd be but we're back on the boat tomorrow to carry on to Luang Praban. Maybe more to see then.

Tonight's bed is in Pak Beng, overlooking the river. Elephant sanctuary on the other side and will probably see them down by the river in the morning.

I'm chilled.

This morning I've spent 4 hours on a trials bike. First time ever, it's not easy. I'm back out for more tomorrow morning. :D

Today is a smidge healthier than yesterday!

Yesterday, feeling quite rough, I met a mate for coffee - which turned into Irish Coffee (well, rum for me!), a couple of times! Lunch and then more coffee

Today I meet my oldest friend for coffee early, and then we went skiing with her family for the morning. Stopped about 10.30 cos, well, damn the pistes were busy! But it was nice cos we had about 5 inches of snow overnight :D As we got off the lift to then head down, I spotted a woman who looked somewhat distressed. Turns out she's English, not quite sure if it was the chairlift bar or something else but she'd been clouted on the head as she got off the lift (bloody lucky she was wearing a helmet!!), was skiing alone and was in tears. Having spoken to her for a few minutes with my friend, we invited her to ski back down with us (my friend's daughter's boyfriend learnt to ski yesterday, so we were going slowly!!). We all went to stop for coffee. Wobbly lady went to the next village to meet up for her lesson and we all went out to do a bit more as it was midday, and so in theory the pistes would be quieter!!

Ok, the pistes were a bit quieter but they were lumpy as hell from the fresh snow - busy+lumpy = Noggin doesn't ski!! Amazing what you'll do when friends are visiting!! LOL So, when they wanted to quit for lunch I was very happy as my legs are ded!! LOL Amazing how much more difficult it is to ski very slowly for the people you are with!! Good for me to do, but tiring!

Currently crashed on the sofa and trying to persuade myself to get up and shower and change and be ready to go back out!! (not on skis, just out!!)

Another friend arrives tomorrow - she's easier to ski with though :D
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

Got loads of pals coming to stay in next 2 months so decided to give the top floor patio proper makeover.
When I looked closer, it was worse than I thought.
The metal bars were done in Hammerrite about 3 years ago, but was a mess to had to take most of it off with the trusty Makita orbital sander.
Then painted with a sort of rust preventer undercoat.
The walls were a bit easier apart from the tops which needed a good going over.
Too hot to carry on. Mañana..... ;)

Taken delivery of a load of mixed timber and firewood aka half a dozen windscreen crates. There's some good long bits for shelves that just need extracting.

We buried another old local biking stalwart today. A good send off with bikes riding ahead of the hearse.

Looks cool now. Was a pain coz bloody wind was blowing paint everywhere and Hammerite on the metal tubes is a right pain.
The wall paint is water based and easier to clean up.

Attended the "Who let the dad's out" session in the church hall. Went into the church to pray Morning Prayers. Then headed to the coffee morning at the other church where I won some body wash in the raffle! Wooo!! Home to sort out a light lunch and then walked the hound for a hour in local woods. Dealing with two churchwardens who have resigned (well, not standing again for the next term). Both have health issues and family problems and have done an incredible job over the past three years, so much to be grateful for. Will be looking for new churchwardens in April.

Had great 4 hour enduro ride. Just 2 of us and strange to be riding Sunday, but all busy yesterday.
All going OK, following Hippy on tricky goat path around old volcano.
I'm about 30 yards behind, when suddenly he heads off the path and down the steep side
Shit. Had to follow but didn't fancy.

Went nearer the edge to see where he went over. Too late. It gave way and I was heading down. Too difficult and too steep and I crashed 10 yards further down. Then I saw the 'path' he took, about 15' later :(

Was too steep to remount, so slid down dragging it behind for about 20 yards, till I could stand up.
Then walked it down with engine off so I could use clutch as engine brake.
50 yards further I was able to remount and join the path that he used :obscene-birdiedoublered:
