Re: Darts?
Watched it last night, it was ace. I'd love to go one day, for the atmosphere, looks a right laugh.
Gonna be tight tonight I reckon. Don't really care who wins. I do have a question though. Prize money...do they win PM for every round or just their last round, iykwim. ??

At age 16 he's already got a substantial spare tyre round his midriff. I guess it's compulsory...?Count Steer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 6:38 pm According to the news just now the large kid has already won £200k. If he wins the final he gets £250k.

Re: Darts?
As he's too young to drink he makes up for it (apparently) with cheese n' ham omelettes for breakfast followed by pizza when he gets to the venue. Wait 'til he gets on the lager.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 6:45 pmAt age 16 he's already got a substantial spare tyre round his midriff. He's a brave hairy arsed 16 y/o.
Playing darts with mates is a good laugh, but I'd not book a seat to watch it. I am curious to see if the youngun pulls it off.

I've watched a few finals but can't remember much about them.

Re: Darts?
Do darts rounds have a different name? Like match, Bout, game or whatever. I was in a pub team back in the early to mid 90's but could never follow it. Got a mate in Dortmund who comes over for it every year but he does combine that with a visit to his relatives in Glasgow.
