There’s nothing reassuring about it. War is just about the worst situation that can happen.

Yes, my tone is patronising, because you are presenting 3rd Form debating society politics.

When you've got no real answers, resort to attacking the individual. Is that the kind of '3rd Form debating society politics' you're referring to?

If only the IDF and Hamas frequented UK based Motorcycle Forums, they would have sorted all this out ages ago.

I’m attacking what you write here. It’s facile.

Did you ever say what you would do after Oct 7th, if you were running Israel?

You really need to go on some self-awareness courses.

If you CBA to check, neither can I. Besides, it's an entirely pointless question - what happened, happened and no-one can change it. Or are you into wishful thinking?

I’m deeply into wishful thinking, but you have expressed displeasure at Israel’s actions, so I think you have a preferable course of action that you would have carried out, if you were Israel.

You asked pretty much this exact same question 2 or 3 days ago. I gave you an answer. I suggest you go back and find that answer as I have no interest in taking part in some kind of Groundhog Day circular argument.

In fact I'm pretty sure that any onlookers to this little to and fro must be bored witless by now. I'm not going to change your mind and you're not going to change mine. Time to call a halt (for me, at least). Carry on, if you wish.

To tbe contrary, I'm not bored by it. It's a pretty nasty situation (as all war is), but it's interesting that those who condemn Israel and in doing so support Hamas look the other way when confronted with where this leads - to the destruction of the state of Israel of course ...

At the end of the day, the Israelis look like my sort of people, unfortunately forced into a destructive war.

I’m sure the baby-roasting inbred scum of Hamas are not really your sort of people.

So we’ve got a lot of common ground!

The Palestinians were as shit at politics in 1948, as they are today.

It’s a bit like Medieval Scotland- How many wars do you lose, before you stop invading England?

The way this plane caught fire is a bit worrying. It was landing so a light fuel load. And everything inside the plane is fire retardant.
So what's burning?

Pretty incredible that all 379 passengers and crew were evacuated safely from a burning plane. The occupants of the coastguard plane they collided with weren't so lucky though.

Get anything hot enough for long enough and it'll burn, fire resistant does not mean fire proof
