Never really bought into that, Vale always seemed to have an eye for a pretty girl. In Italy male friendship is very different to uptight old Blighty...

It seems different in most of Europe! I was quite surprised (coming from the UK) to see guys doing the two kisses to each other when I first came here. But it's the norm. There's more fist-bump/hand shaking nowadays but pre covid the guys did the 'bisous' to each other and to the girlsmangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 10:44 am "We All Thought Uccio Was His Gay Lover"

Equally, having lunch with some friends and finding out that because it was February there were about 6 or 7 more people there than I expected and all of them (mostly old French ski instructors) expected to do the bisous with me - I was a smidge freaked out by that! Especially as there doesn't seem to be a rule as to which cheek to start with so there was always a bit of a risk of mouth to mouth contact when I really wasn't keen!! LOL

I was being rather tongue in cheek, after all the rumours.Bustaspoke wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 1:40 pmNot sure who 'we' is but it doesn't include me,I never had any opinion or interest either way

Re: We All Thought Uccio Was His Gay Lover
I think it was mostly the Rossi haters who peddled the 'camp champ' stuff. It was just another visible sign of the childish attempts to belittle Rossi's achievements. He's a fudge packer, hardy har.
Uccio seems a switched on fella and you don't run a successful Motogp team or two if you are a chump. You at the very least, need to be able to get the right folk for the job.

It was 100% guaranteed that you'd reply
Just before TRC died , I got in the database and found all the folk who hounded me and gave me shite for years.
You were fifth on the list.
115 times you attacked me personally with shite and hate.
1 or 2 could be accepted. But that many is a bit worrying.
I had you on ignore, so never mentioned you
But you attacked me for years.
And still now
You need to move on..

I have never hounded you - only pointed out your "interesting" view on racism and homophobia. However if questioning your attitude is hounding - so I bruised you ego.Yorick wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 10:34 pmIt was 100% guaranteed that you'd reply

Keeping a list if definitely a little "stalky" - but there you go
You actually put me on ignore because I took the piss out go you buying yet another blue and white GSXR - after spending a lot of your time dissing others for their dull bike choices and inability to ride...
My comment wasn't attacking you - merely pointing out the homophobia is still there.
Who cares what Rossi was doing with anyone - you brought it up
Who were the first 4?

This made me smile and be sad in equal measure- 115 times, and keeping a list - Really?Mr Moofo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 2:01 pmI have never hounded you - only pointed out your "interesting" view on racism and homophobia. It's made me wonder what I've missed- or maybe haven't missed....
Anyway , I'm reasonably sure that I'm on that elite list too, albeit feck knows why, I honestly don't, but assuming I am, that's one more of the five, so only three to go

Re: We All Thought Uccio Was His Gay Lover
I downloaded the TRC archive and analysed it in great detail*. I ran it through an AI. It found nothing of historical importance.
* I didn't really, I bailed long before it shut down.
