Apparently there are 24 of them worldwide.
The bloke in this bbc article is riding to them all on an old 78 Honda four.

Little known fact. There's a Springfield in every U.S. state apparently.
That's why they chose the name for The Simpsons. IIRC

If he wants to take his own bike to Belfast, Australia he will have to clean every last speck of dirt off his bike, even in the most inaccessible places. It will have to be ©SuperWeeksyClean - the Oz Border staff take it very seriously.

Riding round and round on a silly motorbike for no reason. That's not going to help us achieve Net Zero.

But it's something my kids and others from their generation will have to deal with.
It certainly affects my decisions. I don't expect others to do likewise; that's my choice.

I'm all for cutting out selfish flying for a weekend on the lash etc and vast cargo ships carrying tonnes of cheap disposable tat half way round the world, but chugging around on an old bike having a bit of an adventure seems a minor problem. (If he turns the CH off while he's on his travels he's probably carbon neutral ).

Before returning to the States, my USAF mate Garth identified about 30 or 40 such named places in the UK, then travelled around all of them over about 3 weeks.

Many moons I wrote a sales tax system for an American client. They have over 80,000 tax codes. And some interesting names.
