It seems different in most of Europe! I was quite surprised (coming from the UK) to see guys doing the two kisses to each other when I first came here. But it's the norm. There's more fist-bump/hand shaking nowadays but pre covid the guys did the 'bisous' to each other and to the girls

Equally, having lunch with some friends and finding out that because it was February there were about 6 or 7 more people there than I expected and all of them (mostly old French ski instructors) expected to do the bisous with me - I was a smidge freaked out by that! Especially as there doesn't seem to be a rule as to which cheek to start with so there was always a bit of a risk of mouth to mouth contact when I really wasn't keen!! LOL
