Movie 'Classics'... What say you...

Post by weeksy »

So what are the movies you can re-watch ?

Even after a number of years ?

Pulp Fiction is deffo one for me...
Snatch is an all-time classic in my book.

I do struggle with movies and holding my interest for enough of a time period to fully enjoy it though..

What's your CLASSICS ?

Close Encounters
Zoolander
Babe
Saving Private Ryan.

Never get bored watching either of these: funny, thought provoking, exciting, cathartic and plain just nice.

Now you’re talking, when I was young my gran used to phone round (stayed 2 doors down) and tell me Tremors was on come watch it, she had Sky at the time when we didn’t. Another one she used to phone round to tell me was on was Convoy, loved watching that.

I've only seen Pulp Fiction once - but it's still one of my favourite films ever!

Most of them, I've a really bad memory.

I go through bursts of genre or actor watching, most recent were French 1950s and '60s which led onto Lino Ventura.

Terminator 2. The ultimate action film, never been tppped IMO.

Hot Fuzz. Every time I see it I spot a new joke.

Blade Runner (I've watched the later one a few times too and I'll play the soundtrack CD too). The Alien stuff, Predator. If something crops up on TV (pref without ads) I'll quite often rewatch a film I like.

I rewatch box sets too, Babylon 5 which has aged a bit, I'm hoping someone does a remake - Like Battlestar Galactica - Firefly/Serenity, Justified.
