Just finished Mr In-between on Disney and thoroughly enjoyed it. It takes a couple of episodes to tune in but worth it. One of the best series I've watched.

Bailed on two films last night. First was Made in Belfast, which was the slowest, flattest film, I've ever seen 20 minutes of. The second film was Repression which was equally as slow and flat as the first...

I watched The French Connection for the first time ever on Friday.

It's pretty good, if you ignore the jam like fake blood when people get shot.

I'm off now to pick my feet in Poughkeepsie.

On my film thingy The French Connection came up.
Was a famous film so gave it a go.

Bit cheesy and at the end everyone got off. So maybe a complete non-story.

A few FARK moments. Blimey.

But shit to hear a crap cover version of Don't Fear The Reaper for the credits.

Disney “The Shepherd” bloody brilliant adaptation of the short story, I’m in bit’s watching it.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Is it because we don't make aircraft as cool as the Vampire or the Mosquito anymore?

Slow Horses on Apple TV. Series 3 has just started. It's utterly brilliant. Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb is the best secret agent in the world.

Dial of Destiny landed on UK Disney+ today.

I wanted to like it.

I enjoyed the opening act with a de-aged Indy, but after that it just failed to keep my attention. I'd rate Kingdom of the Crystal Skull higher and that's far from the best in the series.

I saw Baby Driver was available on Netflix yesterday so I gave that a watch.

I chose it purely based on the writer/director, Edgar Wright. He did/co-did Shaun of the Dead, Spaced, Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Baby Driver was his first solo effort I think.

I liked it  7.8/10. Classic snappy directing from Wright, who has a very particular style. Top sound track and some unexpected performances from the supporting case.

Just watched it, expected it to be dire, but it makes a decent enough Sunday afternoon flick, rate higher than Crystal Skulls, but hope to buggery they call it quits now.

Started watching Series 2 of 'The Tourist' on the Beeb. Enjoyed Series 1. 2 episodes in, it's a bit 'Twin Peaks' in some ways but it's getting motoring. Probably helps if you've seen Series 1.

Anyone drawn in by the hype around 'Traitors'? Never saw the first series. Saw one ep of Series 2*...irritating people who might as well be actors, working to a very tight script. Funny how 'reality TV' seems just like 'TV drama'.

* I didn't put it on. :(

Ridiculous and implausible of course, but I liked it and not just for Sheridan's assets.

I got a bit emosh watching that too. My Dad flew Vampires and (I think) it was the first "grown up" book that he gave me to read - so it brought back a lot of memories (of when I read it as a teenager, mostly).

Just finished that the other day. Lumley was good, the rest was so so. I'm not really a fan of the Coben story-telling style.

I want to watch "Monsier Spade", but no idea when it'll arrive in the UK. (if we even get it at all)
