Just read the reviews, they will need a subscription, so a bit like the ring ones I’ve got. Look good though, and mainly excellent reviews.Dodgy69 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 1:55 pm Brilliant things and cheap at the moment. Get pics on phone and talk to whoever aswel.

White pool cue chalk.
After having to paint the family room ceiling for the 2nd time in 12 months due to the yoofs thinking pool cues are light sabres, glad to have found white chalk. Coupled with scrubbale paint on the ceiling now, we should be good.

Don't need subscription, you can put a stick in the module if you want to keep recording. I ain't bothered about recording everything, you get an instant notification when it's triggered and very handy to see who's knocking on the front door on these dark nights, you can talk aswel.636mick wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 2:27 pmJust read the reviews, they will need a subscription, so a bit like the ring ones I’ve got. Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Ok, thought you couldn’t record, which is something I need, I will did deeper in that case. We’ve got 2 ring cameras, among others, which although the clarity is good they cost money every year, these could be a replacement for them. We have a family of foxes we feed every day, plus a couple of hedgehogs which make for great watching, and I was able to supply video footage of the neighbours car being nicked. It all helps to keep the F happy!!

Be aware it doesn't take the Makita 18v LiON batteries. It runs on their 12v ones.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
The biggest bonus with powered caulking guns, either battery or air, is the smoothness of the exuding. Set the pressure right and match the speed and you can lay down beautiful beads of jollop.
Get the air pressure too high and it gets very messy very quickly.

With a battery caulking gun and a Cramer Fugi profiling set you'd be as best equipped as you could reasonably ask for.

At 200 quid for the 18V Makita gun they can keep it. If i used Silicon and the likes more i may consider the Matsui Copy for around 80 quid. Met a few people who swear by the soapy water and lollypop sticks.

I think Viagra has superceded that method.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Decided to actually get my Hi-Fi working again....Baby D knocked the speakers over and broke 'em ages ago, turns out the permanent magnet had broken off one woofer (£30 on ebay) and the plugs had just come off another. I hadn't really been that bothered about it before 'cause I binned all my CDs and just streamed most of the time. New TV does Spotify et al streaming and can HDMI audio 'backwards' to the amp while it's playing Netflix/Amazon/Disney+, so that means I've got some motivation to fix the audio now - which I have!
But while I was poking about looking for a new woofer I also spotted this Cambridge Audio centre speaker for £25....done! Gotta love me an old school looking 'wood' (MDF + Veneer ) speaker. One of yours Ricey?

Sadly - I think I pre-date that.... (when I was there the speakers that we designed*/built** in-house were sold under the Gale brand).Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 2:15 pm Decided to actually get my Hi-Fi working again....Baby D knocked the speakers over and broke 'em ages ago, turns out the permanent magnet had broken off one woofer (£30 on ebay) and the plugs had just come off another.
