Graeme Crosby, by any chance?
Right country, but no, not Crosby.
Still reasonably well known for those of us of a certain era ( and me particularly), but a bit less famous/more of a " nearly man" than Crosby was IMO

Dennis Ireland for me will forever be associated with the photo that Don Morley took from dead ahead when the throttle jammed open on Dennis's Suzuki and Don was very nearly killed by an out of control motorbike. I seem to recall that Dennis also had some serious injuries as a result of that crash.

Should have got that quicker - I had a Wes Cooley rep helmet in the 80s. And 21 was always Steady Eddie.

It is quite Septic biased.
Wayne Rainey (center) is surrounded by legends. (From left to right) Eddie Lawson, Kenny Roberts, Doug Chandler, Bubba Shobert, Rick Johnson, Kevin Schwantz and Carlos Checa.
