Due to CV19 lockdown and having the broken hand for 8 weeks, i don't really feel i got the most out of this year on it.
What about the bike?

It's got to get VERY frosty for them to come out to the wilds.

That'll mean another mega cleaning session!

No salt here as yet. I don't recall the last time I rode anything other than the scooter in November. Long may it continue. 8-)

Nah, it wasn't far and ive got about 5 mins of wiping down only. But it's seeming more like "last ride" as the surfaces are getting just a bit crappier each and every time i look to go out now and i can't se it getting an better.

That would look nice if the tail light wasn't there, without the silver triangle plates and with some side panels.
But the tail light is especially weird and minging.

I've tried others and it ends up turning it into something it's not.

Well i went to clean... and as we all thought and felt, the exhaust doesn't stand up to the roads.

If it's this marked/chipped after about 20 miles, then how's it going to be after 1000.

Image2020-11-06_04-07-00 by Steve Weeks, on Flickr

So back to the MT-09 exhaust we go. That's how it's going to be in the long term.

Got any pics?

I've seen the ones with LCish bodywork and they just look wrong, backend to high and the whole bike out of proportion.

I prefer the round exhaust, but it's your bike and you should make it how you like it.

I think with the mudguard, but without the taillight bolted on top would look good.

Our eye is used to something between the tail assembly and the seat,I think that's why the tail tidy doesn't work as well as it should.

Agree. It looks the most factory, like it belongs. Bugger all that tooshing about with black headers, then the paint stays on for a couple of journeys.
