Bazzer left Yamaha to go to Suzuki and won 2 titles.
When he asked to go back later, they refused him works bikes. Long memories.
His famous Akai bikes were privateer machines.

In fairness, Yamaha aren't the only Japanese company to bear a grudge. Honda were famously shirty with Rossi when he left to go to Yamaha, as I recall not allowing him to test unti his contract ran out on Jan 1st of the following year. They also conveniently 'forgot' about the NSR 500 he'd been allegedly promised.
There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.
