I've survived so far! But there's still time! I have skied on my birthday for the first time ever this morning. That also involved a 45 minute walk up the mountain on skis first. But so worth it

Oh. Saw a friend today that I didn't know was back in resort, so invited him for drinks this evening for my birthday. He said "oooo, 35?" So I laughed and said add about 19 years.
He looked at me and said, I don't understand. So I did the numbers - cinquante-quatre. He still looked confused and said I had the numbers wrong!
So I said, no, 5,4.
He was so shocked I was laughing far too hard! I did say that I'm 35 in my head! He said that he thought I was about 40 but said 35 so as not to upset me if he was wrong!!
Proper made my day this has - as well as the early ski!!
