I wouldn't say I'm an avid fan of his works (in that I've never read any of them, nor indeed any 'dub poetry') but he always came across as a decent bloke.

Him too?! I'd always though it was Warren Beatty, with a bit of Mick Jagger thrown in too.

Doh! You're right....but I wouldn't be too surprised if it was him too, he got about a bit...

He had romances with Ursula Andress, Bianca Jagger, Anouk Aimée, Jacqueline Bisset, Barbra Streisand,Joan Collins, Diana Ross, and Anjelica Huston. According to his daughter Tatum O'Neal, he also had an affair with Melanie Griffith.

Try comparing the 'you're so vain....I bet..' bit at around 50secs with the same lyric at 1m50secs, he's shadowing the lead vocal. I might be wrong, I've had a head cold all week.

Mick Jagger absolutely, incontestably sang backing vox on YSV. It was a known thing back in the day and Carly Simon alluded to it in contemporary interviews.
