Martin had no choice, but the likelihood of Pecco being 5th or lower were pretty remote anyway,
I'd take fuck al notice of anything he said after the race, its far more about Adrenalin than Egos
When he watches it tomorrow he'll see that he could easily have won, but Pecco wold still have taken the title.

Onward and upwards, I'm looking forward to see MM on a Ducaii on Tuesday...

Absolutely - would you regard the opinion of somone who's still buzzing his tits off on adrenaline and who has just seen a long-shot WC title chance evaporate, as being logical and considered?

JM could have won, but it would have made no difference to the destination of the title anyway.

His smile first time back in the garage spoke volumes, 7 laps and he was just over a second off his qualifying time on Sat when it was warmer as well. He looks really comfortable on it as well. I know the shapes come when your are doing the times but good start. He's ended 1st session a second off which has to be a win.

I was thinking...

This rule about no unofficial testing, how do they enforce it?

It must be pretty easy to get a bike to a test track and get a rider in for a proper go on it without the whole world knowing?

Do we think 93 might have had an unofficial go on the Ducati already?

Maybe the thought and subsequent loss of corporate face of being caught cheating the test schedule is enough to deter. I can't see how it would be 100% effectively policed, but if a brand took the chance there's always the danger of being touted.

If any MotoGP team turned up at any track, someone is going to see, take a photo and post it... it's impossible to think otherwise.

Put some of those headlamp stickers on it they use in WSBK, a panigale badge on the side, turn up in an old transit, with some plain leathers, job jobbed!
