Probably struggling to digest 'donuts' and haven't had their insulin shot. :(

24th of November and the roads are still rideable in a pleasant manner. I'll take it Greta.

I was really busy today and it was cold but perfect for a last ride. Bloody work!

Tonight is down to 2c and Herts Highways have said they are gritting again. So that's that then I reckon. Looks much colder next week

Spent a couple of hours out on the byways. This one is a cracker about 10kms offroad with just a couple of road crossings.

Had to bail out after the only off of the day which left me a bit short on fuel, I’d put the fuel cap on cockeyed earlier and lost a few litres when the bike was on it’s side :P

How do you know where to find the trails and not be riding on private land?

OS maps and from mountain biking in the 80s plus I got involved in Long Distance Trials later on where we researched what’s legally rideable for the route maps.

We’ve been losing a lot of the remote play areas up on the North Downs where you’d see all types of offroaders playing on a weekend :(

Had an absolutely cracking day with 4 TRF-ers on the lanes of Surrey today, I reckon it was minus something degrees C all day, but coffee and cake stops, including one at Ryka's Box Hill ( unsurprisingly only 3 road bikes there when we were there this morning 🥶 ) kept us alive :D ,- I was absolutely amazed that we found this weather in Surrey today, but it was lovely out there, some ( surprisingly to me ) decent long lanes too and not too much road work- definitely worth the time in the van to get there and will do that route again I think

Took 4 lads out who are over from Fuerteventura.
I let the mad Jock ride mine on a big hill and he flipped and looped it. Rear mudguard pointing upwards.

In the pic you can see it wobbly after 10 minutes kicking, bending and prodding.
Took it all apart and repaired with cable ties and prayers.

A Scotch bent your bike?

You'll never get money out of him to fix it. :(

Copper wire was invented by a Scotsman and a Yorkshireman arguing over a penny.

LOL. It was funny to watch. For everyone else.
He has a 250 4 stroke.
300cc 2 stroke was too much. The bike bounces well
