And Frankie Morbidelli gives an insight into what led up to Aleix giving him a slap. Aleix really needs to have a word with himself.

Yeah, just watched the race myself & thought in much stronger terms than that, not what racing should be about

Re: Qatar MotoGP
So pleased for Diggia - I was screaming at the screen for him to overtake and go for the win...

Looks like George was gifted some rogue rubber.
Tis a pity for us all.

It must have been more than one shit tyre, every time he tried a practice start the bike behaved exactly as it did at the start of the race.Skub wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 3:38 pm Looks like George was gifted some rogue rubber.

Re: Qatar MotoGP
Bit gutted with that. Had hoped for a proper bun fight of a finish. Now unless Pecco messes up big time it's all over.

Re: Qatar MotoGP
Ducati spend gazillions making a great traction control system. But it can't stop the wheel spinning on the start line.
Not even with the help of the launch control.

Re: Qatar MotoGP
Fernandez ran Sasaki wide a couple of times, Masia was no better. All a bit rubbish.

Re: Qatar MotoGP
Apparently Mighty Mick was shocked that the Leopard team didn't cop a penalty.

Re: Qatar MotoGP
The Leopard team should have been disqualified. Something like that would improve riding standards very quickly. I really don't see how that kind of riding can be regarded as remotely acceptable.

Re: Qatar MotoGP
I wouldn't be surprised if there was some element of remote control/back door embedded in the Ducati electronics/firmware. Whether that would ever be used by an 'interested' party is open to conjecture. It was curious that Jorge had no problems in the sprint race, but had major grip issues on Sunday. That could be down a duff tyre, but could equally well be down to dodgy setup.
