I think I've caught "Hipster"

Post by Le_Fromage_Grande »

I own a retro styled motorcycle and today I've bought a very retro leather jacket, I'm scared I may start finding brown seats, cloth caps and beards appealing.

Have you started drinking overpriced coffee from bizarre containers and being told it's part of the experience?

I had a similar leather jacket in the 80s, but the 80s one was a dark blue.

Hand your man card in forthwith, or at least tuck it in the back of your man bag

I don't have a man bag, but I do have a very useful faux military jacket (from Sainsbury's) that does the job of a man bag.

TBH I can see it happening, though I look ridiculous when my hair gets over an inch long because it's so thin on top, not bald, thin.

You've simply reached an age where you can start to feel comfortable with yourself and can confidently embrace all those things that you desired but felt ashamed to admit to others. Brown seats, cloth caps and beards are still for the young or old though and you are in the in between age. You can still wear the hat with pride though until you can fully embrace the full accoutrements of hipsterdom/old age.

Is it okay to admit I'd rather have a nice cup of tea than a pint of beer?
