Our island is at the far end of the transit route.

I’ll vote tactically. I don’t care for Starmer at all and TBH Labour are only marginally better than the Tories, but this current lot have to be buried.

I've been saying this for years.I think the Tory's have been the worst bunch of self serving chancers we've had the misfortune to be ruled by in living memory & the opposition hasn't been able to hold them to account,even now Labour are at each others throat over Gaza & Israel,whilst north of the border,the SNP appear to be having a few 'issues'.
I've been saying it for years,I vote for the party that I think will do the least damage,sadly it's not a very optimistic view but I'm determined to vote as I think those in power would love to remove my right to vote given the opportunity.

At the start of COVID Boris did nothing. At the time I was laughed at for suggesting he thought he had a disease that killed the sick and elderly, turns out I was right. Have you not paid any attention to the COVID enquiry? Kill the sick and it's a win for the NHS, kill the elderly and it's less people claiming state pension and using health services.

Tbh, I thought BJ and Co did alright when covid kicked off. We were all worried, folk dieing outside hospitals around the world, we wanted our jabs ASAP and I think we did.

Those tv presentations with BJ, Hancock and whoever were hilarious, trying to explain to a live tv audience something they knew fcukall about. Van dam and the lady were good though.

I also think living in your own little bubble is best these days, looking outside it, isn't very nice.

Missing the first 5 COBRA meetings because he couldn't be arsed, dismissing the evidence of mounting death tolls from Italy, 'let the bodies pile high', seeding care homes with Covid positive cases, delaying lockdown until the very last minute etc. etc. He could scarcely have done a worse job if he tried.

Everyone is still obsessing about Covid. Yes, it can be extremely nasty, yes, it kills people. So does measles.

We have a vaccine now, we had a vaccine very quickly, and it is fairly effective. Perhaps BJ was right, we should have done a Denmark, gone flat out on the vaccine and then got over it. Death rates from the UK are horrible skewed, if you had Covid and died then you were shown as a Covid death, even if you died of a broken neck.

I am probably high on the 'at risk' list, but I refuse to worry about this, it is here, it will be here for the next 1000 years. The annoying thing is we will be paying for the Covid economic fallout for the next 100* years.

A persons real leadership skills are shown when they are put to a real challenge.

Anyone can lead or be led but it takes a real true leader to lead successfully in a time of crisis.

I wonder what the stats are on who was in power in the most significant times of crisis over the past century?
