Hub steered GSXR 1000

Post by Bustaspoke »

I wasn't sure where to put this topic.
It's Joe Ackroyd who was 4th man for the WEC Metiss team at this years Bol D'or at Le Castellet.
They seem like a good team to be involved with, some work & inovation in the chassis.Unfortunately the bike threw a rod a few hours from the end.

I was standing just by the bridge to enter the pits when the Metiss came past in flames and a long smoke trail.

Shame, as they were going well in the experimental class. Nice looking, well prepared machine, let down by the motor.

In French. Bike blow up from the 23.00 minutes. They will be back in 2024 I believe.

Some very clever stuff going on there.
