Now is the winter of Tory discontent (or discount tents :D).

Sunak hasn't got a clue, he replaces Braverman who I wasn't keen on but she was at least trying to deliver on the soundbite politics that got them into office in the first place, and brings back the utter empty shell of Cameron who caused Brexit and then ran away. I think the only time this Tory government have been any good was in the first year of covid, but that's only because Boris is a secret champagne socialist and they had little choice anyway.

Sunak is a Rees-Mogg with less charisma and Cameron is a clown without any decent magic tricks.

General election now please.
Short the pound and retire on the massive crash when Starmer takes over.

WTAF ?????

This just doesn't get better does it :( :( :(
You couldn't make it up,they're interviewing a tory MP on R4 at the momment, says he's glad to see the return of Cameron & he associates him with doing good things for the country. I've had one of my outbursts & started swearing at the radio again
How much lower can they go, Liz Truss as chancelor of the exchequer?? :wtf:

I reckon Sunak couldn't handle the fact that Braverman's balls are so much bigger than his own ....

I also find it really weird, it's like that programme on the telly where they had Ant & Dec behind the scenes telling people to do outrageous stuff.

I bet Ant & Dec were sitting behind a screen by Sunak pissing themselves and suddenly Ant goes "Oh...oh...I've got a brilliant one....tell them that you're bringing Cameron back..." and they all piss themselves laughing

I can't imagine any scenario where you'd bring Cameron back into any political party as a confidence booster for success

This is at least as bad as Corbyn being detached from reality.

I hope they call a GE very soon, after the revolving doors it would be fair to do it asap.

My day has been made in learning that Suella is actually called Sue-Ellen , after the character in Dallas. Her mum was a big fan, apparently.

Is it going to close down the airspace of Europe and NA?
I'm a very amateur geologist but past eruptions of this type are long fissure type eruptions that have beautiful fire fountains of lava over a series of fissures. Very pretty to look at, obviously devastating if your property is close by but usually not to wide spread, lava flows from the fissures can go a long way, maybe flowing into the sea
Longest one here is about 10 miles. From Timanfaya, into the sea at Playa Bastian. About 2 miles from here.

That was 1736 ish.

Aha, yes. That was awesome. But not for everybody. Our island is dormant.

It all went south when they took away BoJo's water canons! Imagine how much more entertaining the tv footage would have been if they were put into use! I'd have given a soapy tenner to see Corbyn spun down Whitehall on his back by said water canons! :D

This letter is from when she was in Truss' cabinet - back in October '22.

Didn't the 19 October 2022 date stamp give you a clue?

By all accounts she is keeping her powder dry and will drop the bomb at a time calculated to cause Sunak maximum damage.
