Just watched the sprint, enjoyed that,
4 dukes dukeing it out (well 3 as Bastianini was not trying anything)
Enea should of made a pass on Pecco, that would spice things up in the garage (surly Martin is replacing him next year)
Happy to see Alex look so good in that

Bastianini also has a vested interest in Bagnaia winning the world championship since, if Martin claims the title, Ducati have admitted they cannot rule out moving the Spaniard to the factory team at Bastianini’s expense.

Both Bagnaia and Martin looked tired and not their usual selves. Big pressure for all.
There's all kinds of anxiety now in case the team make a bad call on the tyre pressure rule lottery. I really hope this championship isn't decided in that way.

Main question I am thinking is
“How many Ducati’s will try and over take Pecco”
I guess they would rather there mate wins Than Martin.

Aside from the first few laps the big race was a dull affair.I fell asleep with 5 laps to go.
Moto2 made it halfway before becoming processional,despite,or maybe because of the talents of Pedro Acosta and Fermìn Aldeguer,the latest Spaniards to rule the world.
Even multiple pile ups couldn't stop Moto3 being the best GP racing. If you like your sport,it's unmissable.

Just to add to the joy,five riders have had official warnings for tyre pressure infringements. I really can see this championship being decided by the rulemongers. What a crock.

How did they get SOOOOOOO far away from Martin?
How did Zarco get so far behind?? (I thought he was ok in the sprint?)
And yes, it wasn't particularly interesting For some reason I can't 'throw' Canal+ onto the tv from the iPad, so I mostly listened to it but even when I did try and watch it, it really wasn't interesting

I've missed the tyre pressure thing. What is this about?? There are limits on tyre pressure for obvious safety reasons,which is fair enough,but teams are now in the position of having to guess where their rider will spend the race. If a rider gets stuck in a pack,then his tyre pressure will rise to the point where he loses grip,then it's catch 22. Conversely, if the team thinks a rider won't be leading from the front,they'll start him with a lower pressure,allowing him to safely progress in a group,but if he gets to the front,or isn't close to another rider,the gamble the team took on pressure may cop them a penalty.

But, has the rule changed then?? I get the limit for safety reasons, but somethings changed??

Aero has changed what's required from the front tyre before the front tyre has had a chance to be developed for the aero.

I've never heard of that before - just might not have been listening TBF. But it's the infringement bit I don't get.

There is a min tyre pressure rule which means when tested at the end of a race, they have to have 1.9bar pressure in the front.
As you know from racing, tyres get hot. Hot tyres increase the gas pressure inside the tyre. Michelin race slicks turn greasy when too hard so teams are constantly guessing how much pressure to run, and if they get it wrong, it's either a penalty or 12th.

It was brought in mid season, slapped wrists to begin with, but now penalties are flying around like confetti
