1.9s back which doesn’t sound like much but in racing that’s a whore of a distance back which is clearly evident with being second from last.
I have no doubt with more time on the bike the gap would reduce but like Westers says the difference now between a WSBK bike and a GP bike it’s not so easy to jump from one to another, in fact earlier in the season when the riders had been on the GP bike they had a short struggle getting back up to speed on their Superbike.

Another thing to factor in is - when was he last there? Has it been 4 years or something like that?
I wonder if he’d have been closer to the rest if it were on a circuit that he’d been on this season.
