If you look at a standard 954 the engine is bolted in exactly the same places, so far as I can work out.

Makes total sense cause moving the engine mounting points, without using totally gash looking home made brackets, would be tres hard.

I'd have said the 954 has a stressed engine if you'd asked me to guess. Pretty much impossible to make it not stressed when you think about it.

So....yeah....just replaced the ally frame with a less stiff, heavier tubular steel one? :D. Front end is interesting though.

Kinda odd they've got an utterly generic rear end? Ran out of tube and orange paint?
