Re: EICMA
Stuff has started trickling onto Social Media.
Honda are launching the NX500, it's nothing new, just a re-badged CB500X.
They've also rebranded the unfaired CB500 as the Hornet 500.

Re: EICMA
Suzuki have stuck a fairing on the GSX-8S and called it a GSX-8R as a competitor to the R7.

Well, I rather like that for looks
But then I like the Tracers too.
Not sure what I'd do with 1000cc worth of engine though

I think Kawasaki sell a few 1000 Versy's maybe that's the market that Suzuki are targeting, never heard a bad word about their GSX-S 1000 GT,just tweak the bodywork a bit & you've got a competitor to the Versys 1000.

Re: EICMA
Looks a bit 'budget' wonder if it will sit alongside the current CB1000R as a cheaper option?
Edit:
MCN say it's a replacement and isn't as budget as it looks in that video

Re: EICMA
It's very ugly, looks a bit like the original CB1000R with a budget frame and swing arm and a GSXS750 silencer

Re: EICMA
Apparently the same suspension and electronics as yours, but with the newer Fireblade engine with moor powah.
I agree that the frame/swingarm looks very low rent.

The forks on mine are very good, the shock is okay, it really doesn't need any more power, it's pull your arms out fast as it is, the only bike I've owned where the bum stop on the seat is a necessity

Everthing is heralded as the greatest, but it's all a bit meh.
Maybe it's just me.
Kawasaki has a hybrid thingy (Ninja 7 HEV) which has finally been launched to potential widespread disinterest.
