He's frustrating as buggery bit I was cheering and shouting.
But a shame only 1 team member to welcome him in parc ferme.

They had sacked all the others for assorted offences against other riders

These are the back stories we seldom hear about and go a long way to explaining his inconsistent performances.
I hope he has a great last race at Valencia and gets a good team for wherever he goes next year.

Max is packing in team ownership at the end of the year - something about a dispute between him and Peter Oettl (other co owner) as to who actually owns the team.
Of course, him packing it in has nothing to do with any of the stuff that's starting to come out

Not really a surprise given how poor his results have been.Yorick wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 3:58 pm Now the poor bugger has got the flick.

The question is, is it the team, or is struggling to adapt his style to bigger bikes?

Decent result on Sunday and 3 points added to his total.
The Ducati seems one of the bikes to be on so hopefully he can get an extended ride.

Re: What Happens To McCrash This Week?
I can't find anything. He was standing in for Ollie Bayliss last round,no mention of him in Jerez.

Re: What Happens To McCrash This Week?
Bayliss was back for Jerez (finished 18th in both races), so John didn't have a ride

Re: What Happens To McCrash This Week?
He's got a ride for 2024 in WSS.
I hope this team is more competitive than the last ones, but I know nothing about them.

He's a frustrating enigma. He has talent and 4 GP race wins. But not sure where his ability will take him.Skub wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 10:22 am He's got a ride for 2024 in WSS.

Re: What Happens To McCrash This Week?
Wepol are a pretty professional mob who have been around for quite a while and had some privateer success in world endurance. Danny Webb rode for them in WSS when he got the flick from Moto3 for a while then they went to Endurance and the occasional dabble in the WSB paddockSkub wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 10:22 am He's got a ride for 2024 in WSS.

Will be interesting to see if the Triumph has progressed on from its poor showing last season with PTR as we now have a couple of Brit riders on them for 2024 with Tom Booth-Amos signed up on a Triumph as well
