Look outside?
If the San Andreas fault goes whoopsee...what do you think outside will look like? I don't think they'll bother warning people tbh because there's not a lot they can do...apart from kiss their American asses goodbye, as it were.
Exactly. Look outside...peoples reactions will tell you within seconds and so will your instincts! Surely?

We don't need idiots to tell us what to do anymore.

Damn, I thought that a concrete lorry (you know, the ones with the turny barrel thing on the back!) going off the road over near Courchevel was bad!!!On Monday, October 23, at around 1 pm, a 32-tonne truck carrying a 7 m3 concrete mixer on its way up to one of Méribel's construction sites on route du Cruet flipped over on the outside of the hairpin bend, tipping over the low wall protecting the pedestrian walkway with its wheels in the air.

EDIT - Cement mixer truck?

The driver, slightly injured, was taken to hospital in Albertville.

The mayor's office has provided a crane and sufficiently powerful equipment to straighten the top.

To get it back up or fix it?!!

Local driver, probably drives up and down at least once most days. Lots of residents have commented that the trucks drive too fast and so can't stay on the correct side of the road :(

But - I'll send over some duck tape and cable ties

We get so many different warnings that I turned most of the fucking things off. Came to this decision where I leapt out of a chair in a Dr's waiting room thinking we were about to have an earthquake, when it was a notification about a car involved in a kidnapping 3 countries away.

Now I just get actual quake warnings.

I'd guess that a small minority are complicit in what Hamas is doing, with a large majority just wanting to get on with their lives and don't raise their heads for fear of being victimised/ostracised (or worse) by Hamas and the other assorted 'jihadist' organisations.

If the Police say they will arrest demonstrators who shout for jihad, I think a lot of demonstrators will do a lot of shouting for jihad.

Saw this phrase in the report -
He told reporters: "They don't represent us. Alcohol makes bad things in people.

I maintain that alcohol removes inhibitions - so if you are really a nasty twat but hide it well, being drunk will let others see that you are really a nasty twat.

I do so hate the "alcohol made me do it" excuse

100%
Alcohol just helps you be more you.

Old age seems to do it as well, my mum is a nasty drunk and as she gets older her sober snide comments get sharper too.

I don't think it's compulsory to listen to it.
I don't like rap music, so I don't listen to it.

Not many people do...not for very long anyway...

In August 2023, GB News had a total identified monthly audience (including sharing and streaming) of 2,786,000, with a nearly 1 minute average daily viewing according to BARB.

They've got their dream team now, Johnson, Rees-Mogg and Lee (I used to be Labour) Anderson. Money well spent. Arf.
