Once Harold Wilson/Ted Heath weren't prime minister, he didn't have much of an act!

Re: Just Dead Celebrity Express Thread !
@Slenver Finally got round to watching it. HTF he wasn't on my radar I don't know. What an incredible and remarkable story! Album will be bought. Thanks for bringing him and the documentary to my attention.

That's excellent work! Very pleased to have been of some help
There's a second album too which is also great, though the first one is the real classic.
For reference, when I watched the film the first time, there was a South African at my work. Probably about 25, so too young to have been there at the time, but I asked him about Rodruigez to see if the film had exaggerated anything. He told me it was exactly like the film said and that everyone there knows his music as much as they do Hendrix or Bob Marley.

He was always "Ducky" to me and it was a long time before I realised he's also in The Great Escape

I recall watching it as a kid and being terrified, although I could never work out why as there were no monsters or anything. Quite a clever show.

Bummer.
I loved the Man from Uncle. I still have the gun and silencer/badge stuff somewhere.

Re: Just Dead Celebrity Express Thread !
The album finally came back down to a normal price so I grabbed one off of Amazon. Playing it now and ripping it down for my phone. Great album. Still can't believe this passed me by and no one I know has ever mentioned it either!Slenver wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 12:07 pmThat's excellent work! Very pleased to have been of some help
