Froze my spuds off riding to work his morning. Winter arrived overnight.
You'd perish if you ventured north, it was 1c according to the garden thermometer.
The same around London, some places were just below freezing.
Luckily I left on Saturday. Camped near Limoges Saturday night, the temperature dropped to 6⁰, hotel in Spain last night and home today where it's currently 26⁰.

To me Suffolk is up north. Beyond that is just a frozen tundra...
Only 2c in my part of Essex (still North to you though i guess?)
Jumped on the bike and got on to the A13 and though fook its cold. Checked the dash and it was 5 degrees. Going to dig out the winter liner and will have to start wearing bike trousers instead of jeans now. Parked the bike at work and saw it had heated grips that I could have turned on! D'oh!
I don't know how cold it was at 0500 this morning, I don't need to as I have appropriate clothing, but it was flat calm, clear and the starts were stunningly good.
Knocked up an easily dismantled wheel chair ramp today for my friend's. Hopefully he'll be sprung from the care home today, otherwise it might be a midnight visit with Potter and Bigyin involving ropes, balaclavas and balconies.
It's been weight tested, just hope his wife can get him up the slope, she's only a wee thing!
Today I've done a couple of tasks in preparation for winter. Mowed the lawn this morning, will it need mowing again this year?
Filled the Street Triple up with E5,but I reckon that I'll get one more good day out on it before the end of the month, then I'll SORN it until March,so weather permitting it'll need some more E5
Wrote a T-SQL query to create a five tier hierarchy of GL codes for a P&L PowerBI dashboard.
For someone who knows what they are doing it's probably pretty simple, but required some out of the box thinking from myself. I'm now feeling rather smug.
