I'm currently chillin' on my friend Vedat's boat in Çiftlik. I have no idea what the temperature is but it's cooler than September was. It's beautiful day with a bit of cloud over Rhodes, to the south. We had a storm last night and there was a bit of rain in the south of the village but where I live, in the North of the village it was dry.

Right now though, I'm sharing an Efes with M, Vedat and his wife Sergül are preparing lunch and the world, well this bit of it, is a happy place. I'm off now, you've taken up enough of my time. Bye.

But it's been an absolute peach of a day here. I reckon, if the weather's good in September/October it's the nicest time of year.

(Went for a week in North Wales in September one year. Packed for Welsh weather...and ended up buying T-shirts etc. September's the new August. ).

We've got another week of sunshine followed by a less than great weather weekend

I can deal with cold, just not so keen on damp or rain!!

Mind you. It is now pretty cold out. But still not quite freezing!!

But, as long as it's sunny, I'm happy (would just prefer the sunny at weekends now I'm working weekdays!! LOL)

TBH mate, i wouldn't have expected a lot more in the middle of October...sure we get a nice day sometimes... but generally, this isn't exactly unexpected.
