Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.......

There was very little in that big jump, absolutely no margin for error.

At what point do they stop? When someone dies? The need to go bigger every year will probably cost someone very dear at some point.

Still can't stop myself watching it though, amazing skills

You could ask the same about the TT, apart from the fact, no-one has died... there's been very few life changing injuries arguably, most are a few broken bones. I agree though to an extent yes... but IMO, even if it's not in competition, they'll still push boundaries, limits and do extremely risky stuff.

They don't make the TT course harder/more dangerous every year either!

That seems to be the Red Bull thing in several sports...push it until it breaks, which is fine as those involved know what it is that'll get broken. It was the same with extreme snowboarding, some fabulous footage, some fast money etc and nobody was forced to do it. It is all getting a bit like that Japanese TV show where they nailed things to their heads or got run over by tractors and whatever though.

There's no money. Lol.

Riders get paid $10,000 for 7 days work, they need to pay for dig kit, hotels x3 , food , car hire etc.

Even less reason to worry if they're just doing it for the glory and not for the money. If that's what they want to do, slap 'em on the bum and say 'go for it'. Nice business model for Red Bull though. At least the snowboarders I used to watch were making money for themselves by risking their necks doing :wtf: things.
