A couple of hours out with the old classic boyos. Brill weather for October.

That blue '75 Z1-B is my favorite Kaw paint scheme for a 4 banger, ditto the purple '75 H2-C... The '99 ZRX11 isn't too shabby either... I notice he turned the rear plate bracket the right way up. The amount of us who striped/polished the edges of the wheels makes me wonder why the hell Kawasaki didn't do that in the first place. They sure as hell did it on a lot of other models for decades (started with the '76 KZ000 LTD iirc).

It might have been brill weather where you are but it pissed down for most of the day again around here, new month same forecast.
I don't mind a bit of rain but it's hardly stopped since mid June...

'Tis ten times cleaner than mine in 1980. It happens all the classics, they become polished jewels, which not many of them were in their heyday. I don't recall any glittering Kawa triples back then, they were just oily stinkwheels.

T shirt..shorts..socks and sandals, no gloves to compliment.
A very enjoyable afternoon had. 2 pubs , 2 pints and a bbq with Mrs dodgy on my return.

This afternoon- what was planned to be " I'll be an hour max" to test out my new home-made clutch cable (more to follow on that in the projects thread when I get around to it ) ended up as well over 2 hours and 110 miles - this bike is made for roads like these

I got out for a spin on the Suzuki earlier, called in at one of my mate's.He's a one man band garage business & he moved ubits earlier this week so I called in for a chat.
He's got a few of his toys in there already.I've never owned a Brit bike, but I like the look of this Bonny that he bought last year

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Didn't stop anywhere with spectacular views today, but did about 34 miles
Down to Landry to a friends cafe cos I thought a mate was going to be there, but she was working!! Having turned up and de-kitted, I figured I should stay! So I had a coffee
The along to Bourg Saint Maurice to my mate's shop. Two coffees and a tart (tomato and pesto, not the other type!) seemed to last hours!! That happens often when I go there with no time limit, we can just chat all day while she bakes!! LOL
The sun had gone over before I took this one, but she was in the sun most of the time!!
While I was there a friend sent me a 'hello' selfie - we've not chatted for a few months and the last time I saw him he took a video of me leaving the rehab centre riding the Monster, so I thought a photo of me and the bike was fitting!!
Then home to chill a bit before heading out for the match at 9pm
