Everything about her is demanding and "I know my rights", even though she's literally not up to it.

My daughter is ex army. She was battalion PTI. Her biggest issue was she wouldn't sleep with her Sgt, so was basically left to rot on guard duty for 6 months until she told them to shove it.

13 years in power - and very little progress forward for the country. The education system in dropping in international standards, the NHS has become a monster that cannot be culled, taxpayers money has been wasted left, right and centre on half arsed projects ( and ended up in the pocket of government friends. Because of the behaviour of Boris and his cronies, we have had a huge drop in honesty , trust, work ethic and deliverables - so if the Cons get back in it will be more self interest, deceit , nepotism and corruption - at least it won't involve Nadine Dorries.

And as for the alternative - what exactly is Starmer's stance on anything. With his ability to U Turn , I have no idea !

It raises the situation a few years down the line where the counter staff will have to decide if a cig buyer is eg 31 or 32. Will they have to carry ID to buy them? I suppose, as there'll be no cash, they'll just pay by card or app and your DoB (and inside leg measurement, browsing history, voting record, iffy tweets etc) will be displayed on the Point of Sale screen.

In reality all the ban will do is push the people who cannot buy the tobacco legally to source it from the black market. I don't have the solutions just the ideas, it's the ruling governments job to come up with the solutions, which they won't as they don't see that there is a problem!

If you're going to chuck out the government/parliament there won't be anyone to come up with the solution.

Here's a few ideas. Pay MPs a lot more BUT, no second jobs, no 'expenses', no professional lobbying of MPs, no 'freebies', fixed, long sentences for any corruption. Limited terms eg max 15 years. No PMs lists of mates to be put in the Lords. (I wouldn't abolish it but it would be a lot smaller, no life peerages, compulsory retirement at 75).

PS PMs have regularly been from privileged backgrounds in the past and they didn't appear to be spivs like Eton seems to churn out these days...although maybe they were and we didn't know?)
