New chain and sprocket for MT07 2018

I need a new chain and sprocket for my MT, i need a set and also tyres for its MOT, my local shop said bring a set and they will fit for £65.

So what’s a good cheap set to get it though it’s MoT.

The difference between good and cheap is cost.

If you find a good brand for cheap on eBay, it's a fake.

I like gold chains because the grey ones seem to rust quicker, and I like chains with O or X rings because they last longer.

Changing the chain isn't rocket science btw - if you're skint you can do it yourself at home with no more tools than what it takes to adjust the chain, plus a hacksaw to remove the old one. That's assuming you're ok with clip links, some people aren't. If you're not, check out EK chains they do a screw down rivet link now.

Only reason I wanted cheap is because they will be fitted and then not used and sold.

I dont want the best or the worst either.

Get the cheapest gold o ring chain you can then, and fit it yourself. That's the most bang for your buck on curb appeal. New rear sprocket only if it needs it (rusty or worn out) and don't touch the front one unless it's really fucked *and* your conscience won't let you leave it on.
