This afternoon- what was planned to be " I'll be an hour max" to test out my new home-made clutch cable (more to follow on that in the projects thread when I get around to it ) ended up as well over 2 hours and 110 miles - this bike is made for roads like these

I got out for a spin on the Suzuki earlier, called in at one of my mate's.He's a one man band garage business & he moved ubits earlier this week so I called in for a chat.
He's got a few of his toys in there already.I've never owned a Brit bike, but I like the look of this Bonny that he bought last year

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Didn't stop anywhere with spectacular views today, but did about 34 miles
Down to Landry to a friends cafe cos I thought a mate was going to be there, but she was working!! Having turned up and de-kitted, I figured I should stay! So I had a coffee
The along to Bourg Saint Maurice to my mate's shop. Two coffees and a tart (tomato and pesto, not the other type!) seemed to last hours!! That happens often when I go there with no time limit, we can just chat all day while she bakes!! LOL
The sun had gone over before I took this one, but she was in the sun most of the time!!
While I was there a friend sent me a 'hello' selfie - we've not chatted for a few months and the last time I saw him he took a video of me leaving the rehab centre riding the Monster, so I thought a photo of me and the bike was fitting!!
Then home to chill a bit before heading out for the match at 9pm

Seeing as it's finally stopped raining I took the Street Triple out for a short spin, lot's of mud & a few big puddles, but the roads were dry
.
I took the photo at 6.35 in the evening & it's going dark, pitch dark by 7pm,them night's are drawing in fast
As we've got some dry weather in the next few day's I'm going for a spin to the Trough of Bowland on monday with one of my mates. We're having a chat about next years bike trip

Enjoyable ride today trying to make up for a bit of a miserable summer weather wise and making the most of this warm snap.
Out for about 3 hours including a stop for a coffee at Triumph Fatory cafe, but only covered about 70 miles and all within 15 miles from home.
Exploring the little back lanes around the Warwickshire, Leicestershire border.
This bike is ideal for this, just bimbling along taking in the views and autumnal smells.
Beeline set to compass mode allowing me to keep heading toward my destination whilst exploring whatever roads take my fancy.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Went to the valley again today! It always surprises me how tired I am after I've gone riding when it's been so long since last time!! (almost a year!) But, that wasn't going to stop me today! LOL Need to practice as have to go to Chambery on Tuesday afternoon
The N90 from Aime to Bourg is lovely. Its an 80kmph road, but lovely and curvy - it's a main road, so not twisty. And it's definitely possible to go a little faster

A little bonus day out with the jap classic boys. Have to take those dry days when they come.

Out for a nice ride yesterday. From home to Snake Pass via Tideswell and Hope then back via Glossop and Hayfield. Probably one of the busiest days I've seen for shear number of bikes. Quite a few bellends out though, some stupid riding on show. Inclusing one badly bent SV650 on Snake Pass.

Out on the Street Triple over to Devil's bridge today with one of my mate's.It was dry but cloudy around here but no problem until we got out of Longridge heading to the Trough of Bowland,Hill Fog,you could see about 20 metres, less in places, the roads were covered in mud & cow shit & my summer gloves got so wet that the dye ran.
At least when we got back to West Lancs it was just overcast. The bike's going to need a major clean after today's ride

I look upon it as a good oportunity to test out the water repelling qualities of my summer gear without getting hyperthermia

Yesterday involved a ride to the RockStore, then over to a mates place where they were having a bike show for 2-Squeeks...
Pics taken in the building are my mates bike collection, the rest were the bike show (only took pics of the Kaws) & a few at the RockStore (from the gray ZX14 on).
