I went from Galaxy to Pixel Pro 6 and regret it. The camera is better but it has a terrible battery life, so I have it on battery saver all of the time and it overheats in hot weather = crashes. The Google browser also freezes occasionally, how ironic, which never happened on the few Galaxys that I had. I dont know if these issues have been improved on the 7.

I've the same phone, 2 days out of the battery and no problems with heat or apps locking up, yo should have sent it back.
Daughter has the 6, again no issues.

I'll wait for the 9 to come out and pick up a cheap 8 pro as I've had Pixel phones since the 2 and have never had an issue, although the Sammy screens do make them tempting.

Funnily enough the only reason I've hung on to the Android phone I recently acquired is that I came across an app that isn't available for iOS.

I think a Samsung A34 5G is head of the list, currently. I can have one from Amazon for £250 or Argos for £350,if I want it today.

My lad exploded his iPhone13 at the weekend.

We're not convinced it can be fixed...

Hugey.... was in his pocket. I assume his leg/it impacted a rock/root.

It does bring about a question of what phone he takes up the hill with him of course now for emergencies/calls/mechanicals/crashes... but you can bet your arse it won't be a £500 iPhone.

Ordered a Samsung A34 5g off Amazon for £240. £100 off from Argos price,so that'll do.

Ta for everyone's input.
