Upcoming motorbike auction!

Post by Taipan »

Some great stuff is being auctioned. Some with no reserve too! I've registered and might have punt on something to abandon in the garden under a cover...

I am impressed with the guide price for the 916 Senna.

But obviously the Stars and Stripes tribute bike is the only one there to have

I'll take the 250LC or the XT500
Some optimistic prices on that list!

Old bikes in general aren't selling for the big asking prices at the moment. There's a bloke selling an H1 identical to mine and he's asking £4k more than I paid. From the pics I'd say mine is better sorted too.

I'd say it's definitely a buyer's market in the Classic marketplace now. You see lots of optimistic prices floating about, but if you want to sell, the bike must be priced realistically. The Bull market is definitely over.

Looks like you'd need the sort of winter that brings White Walkers with it ;)

A NOS Husky 500 auto from 1984?! That's almost unbelievable.

There's a couple of Bultaco's I could put to good use.

It probably broke down in the showroom, Swedish Husqvarnas weren't renowned for their reliability or spares availability.

You're thinking you could get one running out of the two, I think you're being optimistic.

The KTM is about the only one on there that tickles my fancy, although there are a couple of nice Cosworth's on the car page, a tad spendy mind.
